HOW TO BECOME A LICENSED AGENT
- Complete Required Classroom Pre Certification Training
All Insurance Agents in Georgia must be licensed. The law requires that an applicant must first complete the approved precertification course from an approved provider. At the end of class, a Certificate of Completion is issued. A Certificate of Completion is needed to qualify for state testing. Sponsorship is not required to take the exam. The tests are given by an independent testing service named Promissor.
- Take the exam
Reservations are required for the exam. Call PearsonVUE at (800) 274-0488 to schedule your exam. We recommend giving yourself a few days study time after you finish the class. You need to allow yourself time to review the material, quizzes and homework, so you are well prepared. - Our school code is #20167.
